the chapter looked fine to me, and on the other manga they do they seem to be putting out a chapter every 1-2 days. against that speed i cant think of anything so important it's worth waiting over a month for
To tell the truth I'm glad someone will try to translate Umisho faster than us. We're really too slow, at this pace we'll finish Umisho in 2015 ^^; And we can't go faster, trust me -___- BTW, we'll release 71 (today or tomorrow) and 72 (it's already translated, but it'll take a lot as usual). After that we'll decide what to do, in the meanwhile I'll support Vexed as much as I can. It's a good team, I read their version of Umisho and it's ok (you'll be able to compare it with our version soon). Please, continue to follow us (we'll release that damn bonus with 72 XD) but follow Vexed too. Follow everyone XD After all, the most important thing is to be able to read Umisho, isn't it? ;)
I think it's ok that another fansub is scalnating it. We are doing our best to go fast, but maintaining the quality of the project. And as watashiwa7 says, the most important thing is be able to read this manga ;)
I think it's always a bit of a shame when two groups make seperate releases on rare series like this. You really should try to find a way to cooperate with Vexed if possible. If for no other reason than to save yourselves some work ;)

When we first picked up this project, we were releasing a chapter every few days. Then we lost our momentum as real life kicked our butts.

ReplyDeleteMaybe we should recruit a few more editors and proofreaders? Summers starting and I can translate a chapter a day if I wanted to.
